"Just back from a wonderful 3 night stay at the Tor-na-coille. We stayed in a deluxe room which was spacious and spotless. Loved all the original features of this beautiful building. The staff all very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Fresh fruit and delicious cooked breakfast every morning, we dined once in the evening which was superb and very good value, rounded off with a nightcap in front of the roaring fire in the lounge. "What a great host Angela was. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. Our room was very clean and everything that was promised. The cliff trail was stunning and most needed after a long drive. The only issue I had was a lack of hot water when I showered. However, after breakfast it was fine."

"After the hustle and bustle of the city, Chapel of Barras was just what the Dr. ordered. I’m traveling for pleasure, but also to finish a book I’ve been putting off, and this was a perfect stop. It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper. Michelle and David were especially lovely: 10/10 would recommen. "

"So we had a classic king room which was a small room but nice, bed was ok for comfort, only thing about the room from a woman perspective was if doing hair and makeup there was no light to see what you were doing at the mirror so you had to do separately but this is a small complaint, but it was a very nice hotel friendly staff, food was nice we didn't do breakfast, I would visit this hotel again we loved our stay "
