"Bathroom in state od dis repair fire alarm hanging off wall cobwebs on stairs leading to room staff using foyer as office bar overpriced breakfast was cooked well but no toast coffee out of machine. I believe it under new management a lot to sort out woul not go back"

"We stayed in one of the offsite casa style rooms which was perfect for our family (we were parents travelling with two teenagers). Room was clean and had all we needed for our two night stay. We appreciated the afternoon scones and tea in the main hotel. We were surprised that our rooms didn’t have any housekeeping between our first and second nights so I’m not sure if that was part of the casa room service or not but our request for addition towels was taken care of quickly!"

"The hotel lives up to its historical roots . The staff were friendly and cordial. The breakfast can be a bit chaotic at times.. There are no lifts so luggage has to be man handled up the stairs The hotel is well located in the centre of town and parking easy It is well worth a visit"

"Mo who runs the hotel was very helpful as i had to arrive early as I was going to a wedding before check in time she sorted access to my room as i would be later back. Fiona in the bar was very nice and we had pleasant chat which brought nice end to a great day"
