"In the Lodge we had a good view of the lough from our room and the common area lounge. Lovely grounds. We sat outside on the terrace when the sun shone. The breakfast choice is superb with buffet and chef selection, and more. We weren't so impressed with the evening food served in the bar lounge. Overall it's a great experience."

"Atlantic Guest House is an excellent place to stay in Donegal Town. It's just a short walk to the shops, bars, and restaurants around the Diamond in the center of town. It's also really close to attractions such as Donegal Castle, Donegal Bay, and the Famine Graveyard. The staff was friendly and helpful. As a walker and runner I appreciated having easy access to short trails such as The Bank Walk and the long trail Bluestack Way. My room and the bathrooms were clean. The breakfast was tasty and...

"Only real issue involves room doors that have a strong shutting mechanism. Obviously too much for many guests. We managed to close our door without banging...... apparently, too much effort for many others resulting in loud door banging into the night and then early morning. No fault of the hotel just inconsiderate fellow guests!"
