"We have been coming to the New Yorker for many years. Older hotel that's bones have some character. Some of the cheaper rooms are small. Staff is always accommodating, and location can't be beat."

"Our stay in New York was amazing! The hotel location is incredible and made it very easy to explore the city. The hotel itself is very good, super clean and organized, and we felt very comfortable during our stay. We loved everything! As a suggestion, it would be great if they had a minibar in the room, as it would make the experience even better. Other than that, everything was wonderful and we would definitely stay there again!"

"There's no elevator. There are helpful employees that will carry you bag up 3 long flights of stairs. But if they are not around, you're stuck carrying your bags. My only real complaint about the hotel."

"Great hotel and location. Room well appointed and good size. Very disappointed with front desk employees with check in/out. Never texted room was ready for check in despite pre check in at front desk. Asked for later check out and was given one hour more. Only to have them lock us out of our room at the non extended time. Took 10 minutes to get elevator down to front desk to stand 10 more in line to resolve their error. Bell-staff and concierge were lovely but sad the front desk left such a poor impression. "

"Front staff was excellent. Cleaning staff was a 3 star. Gone all day and car back late afternoon to a uncleaned. Asked for them to come back once we left for dinner and while napped they came and knocked 4 times before then."
