Riad Myra Hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Interior design and rooms are so beautiful. The staff and service was excellent as well. I would recommend staying here.

I’ve stayed at many Riads in Morocco and this beats them all. The facility is just stunning, close to everything in the Medina and the service was just outstanding. Oversized bathroom, great shower and large comfy rooms. The breakfast include eggs to order, asst of breads and pastries, salads, cheeses and yogurt. The streets of the Medina are quite narrow and quite a labyrinth. We arrived at night and coming from Mew York it felt a bit uneasy, however, we walked around even past midnight each night and it was very safe. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better place to stay in Fez.

This riad is close to alot of places and taxi is readily available around thie area. Service was excellent and the room we were in is gorgeous. The common area is beautiful. Its just wonderful.

The riad was beautiful within and without. The room was great and the staff were friendly. The only lack luster area was the breakfast. All in all, a great stay.

A Riad Gem

This riad is a gem if you want to experience traditional Moroccan hospitality. Location is excellent - near the Blue Gate - without the buzz.

Riad Myra is a gorgeous and elegant Riad. We loved everything from the room and meals but especially the attention of the staff. You can even purchase wine with dinner. Highly recommend when you visit Fes.

A Jewel in Fez

What a wonderful surprise! The property had just 14 hotel rooms, but they were all very large and beautiful! It was built in the 15th century as a large private home and converted into a hotel around 20 years ago. I can’t express how wonderful it was to spend time there.

Spectacular

This is the most spectacular hotel we have ever stayed. It is so unassuming from the outside but once you step inside it is of palatial proportions and decor. We were in awe of how ornate this hotel is. Even the rooms were beautiful! Despite it being a historic building, the comforts were of the highest quality. We had an amazing stay. The staff were super helpful and provided the best service. They even went out of their way to make breakfast for us at 6 am. I would give this hotel a 200 out of a 100 if I could.

Great place better than expected But I have a suggestion for the owner I see that you have a bar over there and he is in the knowledge capital of the Muslim word I wish you would’ve show some respect and hide the bar and only give it to the people who ask for that way he can respect the people that they don’t drink and accommodate the people that they drink But at the end, I wish she takes it out completely. He has a beautiful place people gonna come to him no matter what.

次は違う部屋に宿泊したい‼︎

とても素敵なリアドです。ただ、他の方も書いていたように、3階のお部屋は不便で、隔離されたようなところにあります。早めに予約したのに少し残念でした。浴室は広くて素敵ですが、チェックインの時は何も臭いませんでしたが、翌朝はキツい匂いがします。 メディナの大通りに近くて分かりやすく、プチタクシー乗り場も近いです。

Fez in 2 gg

Riad molto bello finemente decorato in posizione ottimale per visitare la medina di Fez. Personale estremamente gentile e disponibile ma con grandi difficoltà a farsi capire perchè non parlante inglese ma solo francese. Camere spaziose e pulite ma molto freddo sia in stanza che nelle aree comuni, letto durissimo come dormire sul pavimento. Il ristorante ... scordatevelo se non decidete almeno il giorno prima cosa volete mangiare. Colazione buona ma niente di strepitoso. Nel complesso buono se si parte con un'aspettativa bassa.

I have emailed Hotels.com re: paying their local hotel tax twice, once online with you and once at the hotel. It’s not much but paying it twice is not right and i’d like you to contact Riad Myra Hotel to refund the four dollars or so they took (Moroccan dirhams). Thank you

Apologies in advance for the lengthy post, but I wanted to make sure to tell our story in full so other travelers can take it into consideration when making their decisions from among the dozens of high quality places to stay available in this amazing city. I'm a pretty seasoned traveler -- I have been a reviewer on this site since 2003 -- and this is the first hotel I have ever checked into and then immediately back out of. We arrived on a rainy afternoon to find the Riad Myra apparently abandoned, except for a rather indifferent young woman in a parka who despite her ostensible role as the front desk agent on duty seemed hard-pressed to locate our reservation (we had splashed out on a "Suite Prestige," the highest class of room available), even after I showed her the confirmation on my phone and she herself called it up on her computer. We took seats in the absolutely stunning central atrium -- a soaring daylit space with beautiful tile work and a charming fountain -- where after a time someone brought us some very welcome mint tea from the kitchen. After 15 or so minutes of sitting there and speculating on why the woman was having so much trouble with the reservation and why the place seemed so empty, the front door banged open and we got what turned out to be the answer to both questions: a massive tour group of perhaps 16-20 people who were apparently occupying the entire rest of the hotel. While Riad Myra is architecturally stunning as most riads in the medina are, the praise stops there. When we checked in, we were taken to the only room on the third floor, which may once have been a maid's quarters and seemed to be the only room that did not have a view of the beautiful courtyard. When I inquired if we could pay extra to have one of the lovely room on the second floor, I was told they were all booked even though the doors on 2 rooms were left open at night and we could see they were empty. For laundry service, they charge appx. $4 per shirt. I was told alternatively that I could drop my laundry at the laundromat down the block and it would be much cheaper. Unfortunately, the laundromat was still closed at 10am when I left with my guide for our tour. My guide suggested that Ibrahim could drop off the laundry when it opened as a courtesy (for which I would have tipped). He responded that it wasn't the hotel's responsibility but would take it as a courtesy. When I returned he told me he took it and they were closed. I found out from my guide later that he lied, the laundromat was open and he never bothered to take it. Worse, he did not smile at us even once during our stay and looked sullen and put out by us. We went to the roof at night to see the view and found workmen who were renovating it bathing in a fountain because they were apparently living there while it was under construction!! I heard scraping chairs above my room all night. There must be better!

It is a stunningly beautiful Riad with its architecture and interior design. The management is exceptional. Breakfast is very generous and includes eggs to order. Location is wonderful.

The Riad is very beautiful overall and offers an authentic experience. The breakfast was delicious and very generous in portion! Also the atmosphere to eat it at the lobby in a Riad was very nice. While our room was a bit compact, the bathroom and toilet were kept very clean. ​What made our stay special was the staff's helpfulness. We wanted to try the Hammam, but since we checked in late, we couldn't book the one on-site. Instead, they personally walked us to another Hammam nearby. They also introduced us to a lovely shop selling high-quality Argan oil and spices, which really enriched our Fes experience. ​The location is also good. It is very close to Bab Boujloud and the famous parking area near a post office where you can easily arrive by a taxi. I highly recommend this Riad for its convenience and wonderful hospitality!

Riad Myra is absolutely beautiful and is in a fabulous location. Ibrahim looked after us very well and made sure that all of our needs were met. He organised a very knowledgeable tour guide for us, for our washing to be done and an early breakfast prior to departure. The hammam experience at Riad Myra was fabulous and relaxing. I would highly recommend Riad Myra for anyone staying in Fes.
