"As a solo traveler, This is a fabulous place to stay. Great food, comfy bed, friendly staff. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Only downfall is there is no elevator and I was on 3rd flr. Was a great work out though. Prepped me for all the stairs at the castles I visited. "Absolutely beautiful apartment. Great location across the street from the river for a nice stroll on the path by the river. It’s stocked with every possible amenity — even an espresso machine and ice maker. The kitchen is well stocked. The host is exceptionally responsive to any questions that may arise. Check in/out process was seamless. I would highly recommend for a 5-star experience."

"This was one of the most welcoming and homey places I have stayed. As a solo traveler, having a safe place to stay with kind and helpful people if I needed anything made a huge difference. Plus the breakfast (not included but very reasonable) was excellent! Thank you!!"

"When you flush the toilet in bathroom it makes a horrible loud noise. Info on apartment states it has washer and dryer - it does not. It has a washer and a hanging rack. There was still food in fridge and cabinets, was only given 2 towels for 4 people. Beds are close to floor and are horrible. No roller paper in one of the bathrooms. I truly wanted to walk out. "

"Had high hopes being an IHG member. My stay hasn’t even been recognized. Sadly this hotel was below standards. Next to no parking so end up walking up the street and paying Signs saying they can provide amenities. Asked for a face cloth. Nope. Signs saying you can receive a different pillow. Tried….nope. They don’t have any other pillows. Be prepared for weekend noise as people screaming leaving the bars around hotel. Sadly Next time we will stay elsewhere."

"The hotel was very clean. All staff members that we were in contact were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with lots of options (eggs (scrambled and boiled), bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt (with toppings), cheeses, pastries, juice, and coffee. We enjoy staying here and will stay here again when we return. The location is great as well."

"The Malmaison in Aberdeen has good and attentive staff but is a well used and increasingly tired hotel. I was placed in Rm 202 which is a king, but is one of these squeezed-in rooms. It is several flights up to the second floor and no lifts. It has NO aircon and is South facing. It was hot and the electric fan in the cupboard is not much of a substitute for AC. "The last at the reception was very sweet and helpful. She also recommend a great restaurant for dinner. Breakfast wasn't anything fancy but had everything needed to start the day. The room was clean and tidy. l would definitely recommend this hotel to others."
