This guest seemed very gracious, and pointed out the water damage around the shower head upon checkout. We felt she was informing us of this need for maintenance as a kindness, and did not seem to be desirous of any compensation. Should she ever return for another stay, we would certainly discount the stay for her. In the meantime, yesterday, our maintenance man started on the necessary repair. Although we are sad the this guest felt the need to write a negative review, we are very pleased to have the need for repair pointed out to us so we could attend to it.

We appreciate folks taking the time to review us. We missed a "5" here, and it would have been nice to know where we lost that vote. If you come back let us know how we can be better.

Redwood Suites is a turn of the century style accomodation but, with full kitchens, sitting areas and separate bedrooms, most guests find it very accomodating, with many of them returning time and time again. Redwood Suites is not a Victorian, nor furnished as such, but if you will visit again and stay in our sister inn next door, the Victorian Inn, you might find it more to what you were expecting. Ferndale has fifteen establishments for dining, from Delis, to Mexican, to Cheese Boards, to Pizza, to Fine Dining, to Ice Cream Shops, to Coffee Shops, to Hamburger Stands, etc. We would love to help you choose one on your next trip. Regarding entertainment, the Ferndale Repertory Theatre operates year around with live plays, and the Old Steeple is a magnificent venue for live concerts, many of which are filmed and re-shown nationwide through PBS television productions. We hope you can come again and truly experience what our peaceful and crime-free village has to offer.
