"The hotel is well placed for people wanting to explore the area. The staff were all very helpful, polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, even though they were always busy. The room was clean and well equipped although we did have to ask for some extra pillows but as I said it was not too much trouble. "We stayed 5 nights at the hotel as part of our Scottish holiday celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We couldn’t fault anything about the hotel. The staff were super attentive and helpful, the food was absolutely delicious and the room was lovely. The location was fantastic although the weather put paid to any chance we had of sitting in the grounds. If you get the opportunity to stay at the Glenfinnan House Hotel then do take it. An absolutely wonderful get away location."

"We were there during the weekend when the town held a special event about mountain bike. Luckily, the hotel was out of the city centre, so the night was peaceful and quiet. The room was spacious. Only one particularly dislike was that from the bathroom window, the afternoon sun was so strong that we could have got sunburn sitting on the toilet. And there was no curtain on bathroom window.
