"I wanted to love my stay here because the staff is wonderful, but the physical state of the hotel made it very difficult to be comfortable. Here is the breakdown of my 3-day experience: The Positives Professional Staff: The team here is excellent. Every interaction I had with the staff was professional, polite, and helpful. They are clearly doing their best with what they have. Cleanliness: No complaints regarding housekeeping. The room was well-kept and clean upon arrival. The Realities of an Aging Facility While the service is high-quality, the building itself is showing significant age and a lack of updates. Poor Sleep Quality: The bed was incredibly noisy and squeaked every time I moved. Worse, the mattress provided zero support, leading to a very restless night's sleep. Plumbing Issues: The water pressure at the vanity was nonexistent. Instead of a steady flow, the faucet only produced a slow drip, making basic hygiene tasks frustrating. No Hot Water: During my 3-day stay, the facility had no hot water for 2 days during the daytime. While I understand that maintenance is sometimes necessary, having no hot water for most of a trip is a major dealbreaker. Final Verdict The "Hyatt Place" name usually carries a standard of reliability, but this specific location feels neglected. Until the hotel undergoes a serious renovation—specifically regarding the plumbing and bedding—I would recommend looking at other options in the North Dallas/Galleria area."

"VERY clean room & breakfast area! Staff was great! EXCEPT when I went to check out, there was NO ONE at the Front Desk or in the Office for about 15 minutes. I needed a *printed* receipt, but was unable to obtain one at this time, because I had an appointment to be at. I had to phone in later in the day and have them e-mail me one. "

"Check in was at 3pm I came at 5 and still had to wait. Got to the room and the refrigerator had old food still in it. Had to pay for parking plus 150 deposit "

"The first room had a rat. The second room had a Giant Cockroach crawling around the bed. There's a leaking ceiling in the lobby need the breakfast. This hotel still owes me money a week later. Their now ignoring me so I'll contact Hilton directly. Avoid this location at ALL COST. GO TO THE BRAND NEW GARLAND LOCATION OR MEDICAL CITY LOCATION "

"House cleaning need to improve tiles need to be mop , bathroom could be clean better .I reported that I found a Roach in the closet coming down from the vent and this was not a baby roach it was a good size roach.The security was very concerned but the customer service lady when I tolled about the roach she said it was the weather no concern at all from her she made it seem it was ok.I was not happy with her .But Security took more interest in this issue.We took pictures on this issue."

"Although other reviews mentioned this being an “older hotel”, the interior of the hotel did not reflect that at all! The rooms, lobby, and hallways were very nicely renovated! And the entire hotel was immaculate! We will definitely stay here again when in the Dallas area! "
