"The Tahiti Airport Motel is basic but reasonable for a 1 night stay when proximity to the main airport is a priority. The rooms are small but clean and adequate. The front desk clerk spoke English and was helpful. The weird thing is that you can see the motel from the front of the airport but you really can't walk there (especially with luggage) and they do NOT have a shuttle. I called the motel upon arrival and they instructed me to take a taxi from the airport which cost $20 each way. For...

"Very nice place, very kind of them to let late night travelers use the lounge space. But the architects who forgot to put fans in the bathrooms were stupid! Hot and humid in the restrooms and the poor cleaners have to go back multiple times each day. But a lovely hotel, great folks working there!"

"Great little spot where you have privacy and share common areas like kitchen, bathrooms, showers. The host was helpful and friendly. The pool was great. Peaceful place. We stayed one afternoon-evening before catching our red eye flight back to Hawaii. It was a nice spot to take a nap, enjoy the pool, and freshen up. Would like to go back and check out the tree house! Maybe next time :)"

"The staff were helpful and the attached restaurant has a great breakfast (not included and a little pricey but excellent). Great that they have parking on site. Rooms have a small balcony overlooking the hills. Beds were comfortable and the shower is huge. You can also shower and refresh on arrival even if your room isn't ready in the locker room by the pool and then store your luggage. Very warm in the main parts of the hotel and the lighting is too low for my tastes, including in the bathroom....

"Overall, it was a nice place for our one night stay. Room was nice and cold, but the common areas were hot and muggy which wasn’t ideal to hang around in all day waiting for a flight. The only other area to nitpick was the bathroom in the rooms: small space and door makes maneuvering a hassle. However, close to restaurants, airport and the market."

"La grandeur des chambres et leur propreté étaient impeccables et confortables. La piscine creusée excellente avec vue sur la montagne. Végétation mature avec plusieurs arbres à fruits. Personnel serviable, attentionné, aimable. Restaurant très beau sur le bord de l’eau et très bon. Que 2 petits bémols: petit réfrigérateur dans la chambre et air climatisé pas très puissants. Nous avons adoré nos 2 jours au Royal Tahitien!"
