GREAT HOTEL!

We were in town for a wedding so the wedding party and the parents stayed here - so nice to have a living room and kitchen! Place was clean, staff were helpful. My only comment is for anyone staying longer than 3 nights you might want to offer housekeeping service for a charge. Everything else we loved - close to everything on the Main Line, there's a Wegman's and a Target practically across the street.

Lot's of space and comfortable

Very clean, quiet & well maintained. Coffee & water always available in the viewing room if you did not feel like using the "K" cup machine in your room.

Nice Hotel but Too Many Mistakes

I emailed the hotel a few days in advance because I knew we would be arriving outside the 3-5 PM check-in time. The hotel emailed instructions and told me what room we would be in, which was great. However, when we arrived at the hotel, we discovered that someone was already occupying the room we were supposed to have. Thankfully there was still someone at the front desk to help us, even though it was "after hours." The person who helped us was nice, but I was still put off by the fact that the room assignments had changed and no one told me about it. The room that we finally were assigned to was nice and comfortable. However, when we tried to leave our room to go to dinner, we discovered that we could not figure out how to work the room key. No instructions were available in the room, and I tried to call the after hours help number twice, but no one answered. After 20 minutes we were finally able to lock our door and leave to eat dinner. Then, when we checked out the next morning, I received an email with a receipt for our stay. Upon reading the receipt, I realized that we had been charged an extra "service charge" that was not included in the price that had been confirmed by Hotels.com. After 2 emails, I was told that the charge would be taken off our bill, but again, I felt that this was off-putting. Overall, while the hotel is a nice property, I felt that too many customer service mistakes caused our experience to be not as good as it could have been.

This is not a hotel.

This is an apartment complex that rents out empties. No one at the front desk after 6 p.m. No room make up. Promised continental breakfast was non existent. AC didn't work right. Coffee maker in room didn't work. No one serviced the room, made the bed, took out trash, etc. There was also a problem with the bill being paid which the hotel did not discover until after we left. The facilities were nice and the staff was friendly but this is not a hotel and I would definitely not stay there again.

Family is ok no bar but is ok is you come with your kids for the weekend.

Terrible hotel!

Room never cleaned,no coffee, no breakfast, elevator broke, staff totally rude and unresponsive. Worst experience of my life! Will never stay there again!!

LIKE A SPA

I had no idea really when I made the reservation that this "hotel" is an apartment complex. We went up to our room and it was a one bedroom apartment that was beyond immaculate and gorgeous. Everything was "green" friendly. I wish I had the kitchen in my own home. The bed was very comfortable. There is a Starbuck's vending machine with bagels, muffins and fiber bars in the morning. We took our coffee and sat in the back where there are two pools (one for children) and chairs and couches that felt so private. I honestly felt like I was on vacation and at a spa. I would totally recommend this place to anyone and everyone I know and I hope to return for another "vacation".

NICE HOTEL BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

I have to keep this short. Worst hotel experience EVER! Theresa is most unpleasant to work with in any capacity. The room itself was nice but not as described by hotels.com. The staff did not have nice things to say about hotels.com too, and in fact appeared to be annoyed at our using them to book stay at this hotel. There is no continental available to you after it first gets put out at 630am... Its taken by the long term residents that reside there. We got told (by Theresa) "we better come earlier tomorrow" if we want anything. As nice as it is, I can not recommend this place to anyone. Its sad, and I am not hard to please, but they way we were treated was appalling.

Royal Worthington - generally nice

Most was very good. Front desk guy and security guy very nice and helpful. Room was clean except for baseboards, so pretty good. Only issue was two of the washcloths were covered with black. Looked like someone used them to shine their shoes or they got stuck in machinery with black grease. That was surprising considering how nice and clean everything else was. Maybe that was the fault of a previous guest and not the staff???

Luxury apartment

Wow was totally impressed. The "rooms" are literally apartments, some of which are rented full time so had full kitchen, separate bedroom, and laundry. Everything well styled and felt new to create very luxurious feel. Enjoyed lobby as place to sit and read or talk in front of fire. Free wifi in lobby but not in room. Very nice exercise room for a hotel. Breakfast was very basic bagels/fruit. Didn't use the movie room or pool but both were nice. Could walk to target/grocery but not at all commercial/noises. Not sure I'll ever have reason to go to Malvern again but this would be a first choice!

Frequent Guest

I stay at the Worthington frequently because of the proximity to my work and the familiarity with the renters and long term guests. Although it does not provide all of the typical hotels services, the staff is excellent and the building and room are very comfortable. There is a good trail for bikers and runners nearby, but there is not much else within walking distance. The parking is set up for the full time renters and not optimal for lugging baggage. The room is set up for long term stays with an excellent kitchen, large bathroom (poor water pressure in the shower) and plenty of closet space.
