"One word - avoid. What ypu see in the description and in reviews is NOT what you get. The room was facing the main road and the constant, non-stop noise was unbearable. The breakfast was horrible. £12.50 extra for 1x burnt bacon, uncooked hash brown and a pathetic looking uncooked sausage. Plus a fried egg complete with a hair. "The property was really good. Clean, tidy and well presented. My only issue was that the radiators were not as warm despite being on the highest setting. The bedroom especially was very cold. Another negative is upto now I have not received my deposit back. Surely you should have a system that works for returning deposits back. People are so busy spmetimes one will forget to check that the deposit has been returned back"

"For the price it was good value. The electric ceiling fan was reasonable at keeping it bearable on hot night. If you are sensitive to noise ask to be at the back of the guest house."

"The rooms had forced-air air conditioning, but it was not working at all on a very hot night. The windows only open an inch or so, and while that allowed in the noise from the bar courtyard below, it did nothing to alleviate the heat. The staff did provide a fan when asked.
