"Property was nice but room was not ready when we arrived. Also one bed looked wrinkled and the bathroom was cleaned but a few things missed. Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was nice."
"Do not stay here! Pulled the sheets back and there was hair and dirt all over the bottom sheet. The woman working check in kept forgetting to turn on the speaker as she was talking to me so I kept having to say what I can't hear you and she was not thrilled that she had to repeat herself when giving me directions to the room. The parking lot had several unkempt, and unsavory looking people hanging around and looking in cars. The inside of the toilet bowl had feces streaks.
The inside of the shower curtain had mildew stains."
"The best thing about this place is the location. It is close to the mall and the river, making it ideal for nature lovers who also like to shop. The main lobby with the fireplace is lovely, but the fire is not very warm because there is a large glass screen in front of it that blocks the warmth. The food at the restaurant is delicious but incredibly expensive. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and accommodating.
If you have special needs due to disability, do not count on the staff to be very helpful. The staff there was one of the least helpful groups I have ever met without being outright rude. Not only could they not provide extra bedding for my caregiver, but they tried to charge me $150 for getting towels wet with water when I took a shower in my wheelchair. Nobody ever seemed available to discuss any charges with me or to allow me to dispute them. After seeing my disability, the hotel put a hold on my credit card that was 10 times the amount originally agreed upon without consulting me or letting me know. Nearly all of the charge was removed when I left.
If you use a power wheelchair, the bed will be extremely low for you, but it’s probably just right for manual wheelchair users. The beds do allow for a Hoyer lift to roll underneath, but there is carpeting on the floor, making the use of a lift difficult. The roll-in shower is large and includes a fold down bench. Hoyer lifts can be rented nearby through a medical supply company for about $150."
"Bless the photographer who took pictures of the rooms, made them look so much bigger than the bedroom size they actually are. This is more of a hostel than hotel. The rooms and shared bathrooms are very well maintained and in good working order. The walls are thin and the noise of other guests entering, leaving, and having conversations can clearly be heard while in the room. Quiet hours were well enforced and noise was not an issue overnight. The air-conditioning was slightly less than adequate but the room stayed a tolerable (slightly warm) temp. I would definitely stay again if budget was an issue."
