As a senior, this facility was very remote when touring the island and driving on the left side of the road was challenging at times. "The room was comfortable and had more amenities than other places I have stayed in St.Croix. The owners were friendly and helpful. The views were beautiful and the breeze enjoyable in the evening. You do need an all wheel drive vehicle and should definitely arrive while it is still light out. The WiFi was dependable."

The bed is actually a queen The room reeked of cleaning chemicals to the point of making your eyes water. There was barely a trickle of luke warm water in the shower. "Truly, this property is stunning. I can't imagine it is possible to have a room with a bigger balcony or better view anywhere else on St. Croix. For privacy, The Waves gets an A++ and the onsite restaurant, AMA, is spectacular. That being said, after our initial awe, we did run into some frustrations. Neither the restaurant nor the bar on property are open daily. (Thankfully the nearby Landing Bar and Off the Wall serve great food!) There is really no place to hangout onsite other than your...

"From the time we booked to checkout, the experience was absolutely excellent. Delia ensured we had everything we needed even before we areived. During our stay Melissa, Angela, Paula and I know I'm leaving someone out provided a great bar and good experience. We were there during a slower time so it felt like we had a private resort. The beach is beautiful. We will definitely choose to stay there again on our next trip."

"I had a wonderful stay in St. Croix. The hotel room was clean, spacious, and had an amazing ocean view that made every morning feel relaxing. The bed was comfortable, and the room stayed cool even during the warmer afternoons. "Convenient location. Many nearby restaurants and shops. However, will need car to go to best beaches but street parking was found every night. Overall a nice property to stay and take advantage of what downtown Christiansted has to offer. The town does have a couple of homeless individuals lurking around and that may make one feel a little bit exposed. Nevertheless, property is gated and only accessible with key cards. "The apartment truly does sit in the heart of Christiansted - a perfect location for popping out to a local dinner, browsing local shops, heading out for an excursion, or ducking downstairs to the juice bar. The space was well maintained very clean, and provided everything we need. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this apartment for a trip to Christiansted."
