"We stayed at Hyatt House Davis for three nights during our child’s graduation weekend. The two-queen suite was spacious, comfortable, and worked well for our family.
Unfortunately, our experience with customer service left much to be desired. We arrived at 3:40 p.m. and found no one at the front desk. After waiting about 10 minutes for someone to appear and check us in, the stay started off on the wrong foot.
Another issue was housekeeping. At no point during check-in were we informed that daily housekeeping is only provided upon request. After our first night, we expected the room to be serviced, but no one came. When we called the front desk that evening, we were told that housekeeping must be specifically requested. We then requested service for the following day and were provided fresh towels.
The next day, despite requesting housekeeping and asking that the room be cleaned around 3 p.m., no one showed up. We eventually asked staff to at least remove the dirty towels and empty the trash cans, which they did.
The hotel itself is nice, and the suite was comfortable, but the lack of communication regarding housekeeping and the inconsistent service were disappointing and left a sour taste during what should have been a special family celebration."
