"Awesome location and great amenities. Rain prohibited us from making full use of the amenities. We would go back. Lots of nice non-chain places to eat."

"TV system was terrible….. TV wouldn’t work properly for most of our stay…. The tv in the bedroom area rarely worked and the channels were not the same as the one in the sitting area when it did function properly. Staff admitted there were problems but did not know how to help….. some channels were not available on the tv in the bedroom. TVs were out dated."

"Friendly staff but outdated hotel. Cleanliness could be better."

"It was a great location for the beach and everything was great! i had no complaints beyond the parking being limited to the check out so we had to pay for parking on our last trip to the beach. but that’s pretty normal for the area."

"The hotel is a great value for the location. Centrally located on the island, guests can make it to the mainland or beach attractions easily. Mondays, off-season, are slow and the restaurant is not open for service. The highlight is beach access and quiet surroundings. We have been here before and certainly would return or recommend it for a quick NC getaway."

"The hotel was at a convenient location and has a pleasant atmosphere."

"The property is well managed by the owners. The property is like staying in an older house. Guests can cook food in the kitchen. Was unable to connect to the cable TV or apps."

"Staff were great! The property was well maintained. The room was dated and damp (rained all 3 days we stayed) the air conditioning unit did not keep up with the humidity in the room."

"Mattress was not comfortable. You could feel and hear the springs every time you moved."
