"My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Marshall Meadows Manor House. We stayed one night, but ate dinner and the included breakfast at the hotel. The room was clean, the food excellent, and the staff genuinely helpful. The manager assisted with luggage, provided us with helpful advice for our destination the following day, and was very attentive while also serving at the restaurant. "Staff and food were very good but stay was let down by a few niggles. I had booked a table for dinner but there was no record of it when I arrived. I had also asked for a room with a walk in shower but didn't get it. The biscuits on the tea tray were the smallest pieces of shortbread I have seen made worse by having no biscuits at all on my second night. The tea bags had not been replenished and why leave 3 cartons of long life milk for 2 people? I have stayed in many hotels with my dog and this...

We didn't have an evening meal, although the menu looked great but we were out with friends. "At 86 years old the staff treated like I was the Queen mother from arrival to departure. I have mobility problems not major but do need some assistance they were always there if I needed help. Cheerful and chatty. The meus suited my taste and I enjoyed all I had to eat. Going places on my own at my age not easy The staff made my weekend trip very Pleasurable."
