"Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was enjoyable. The person on duty S Patel let us check in early because we were headed to Arcadia Bluff to golf. Enjoyed our stay."

"The new owners are trying very hard to please the customers. It is probably the best full-service hotel lodging option in Frankfort, with an excellent restaurant for breakfast and dinners. It is a short walk to the beach and lighthouses and a great jumping off point for the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Seashore to the north and Arcadia Dunes to the south."

"Our room was very clean! A little small but all we needed. Older motel but very clean. The area by lake is very nice and view was good. The reservation is thru Expedia. The office is only staffed at limited times however the phone number provided a responsive call back. Be sure to call ahead for check in to arrange for your key. Would definitely go again!"

"very nice property and perfect pool for adults and kids , also you can see wild life in the backwaters and even enjoy a campfire. the owners are very nice , also the staff. the amenities in the rooms are perfect. small refrigerator and microwave and all bathroom and shower needs . upgrade rooms have even more options we have stayed here before. great price and great location. breakfast available grab and go style with fresh fruit bananas and such . definitely recommend"

"We were looking for a quiet retreat from a busy lifestyle and that is exactly what we found. I could not give 5 stars for interaction with staff because we didn't really "see" anyone but we did communicate by text and the person was very prompt and always helpful. Check-in was super easy. Cabin #5 was large enough to be comfortable, had everything we needed, the bathroom was nice. It was a lovely property to walk around outside and enjoy nature."

Betsie Riverside Resort

"We loved out stay at Betsie Riverside Resort! The cabin was so clean! Not just clean for a cabin with a wooden stairway down to river right outside the door, but clean for a nice hotel. The unit was outfitted very efficiently with things like extra blankets, kitchen items etc. The love seat recliner was not new, but it was amazing! The leather so soft and comfy. It was not buggy, so we did not use the screened- in porch of Cabin 6. Very helpful & attentive owners who want your stay to be wonderful. After a cold July night, Chris happily came down and turned on the pilot light, so that we had a bit of heat. That was not in the budget. They struck me as an easy going couple too, considering how much of themselves that they put into making the place so nice and all the details they have addressed. Chris and Misti really know what they are doing. Grocery store nearby down the 2 lane road. Traverse City is great. But driving to see sunset, get pizza, cherry pie and for getting to kayak, bike routes or the the Dunes, I prefer uncrowded, rural Benzonia for base camp. Wish we could have stayed longer and would have if they were not sold out. Thank you for a wonderful stay."
