The only thing was there was only a thin sheet for a blanket on our bed but I am sure they would provide a blanket if we had asked! "

"The staff was amazing. Made you feel at home and comfortable and safe. The tea was especially excellent and sublime in the lounge on the roof. Restaurants nearby had a variety of food including western style food and fast food along with traditional food. The hotel is also very close to the medina as well as significantly closer to the malls and cinema. Overall the experience was splendid and heartwarming."

Fes El Bali is known for its abundant dining options, and you can plan a trip to Bou Inania Madrasa and Chouara Tannery while you're in town.

Kairaouine Mosque, Fez, Morocco. One of the largest in Africa, and among the oldest universities in the world, the mosque dates to the year 859. It's an incredible, ornate jewel of a complex located in the center of the dark, dirty, chaotic old media of Fez. They open the doors to allow tourists a peak inside. Also, great opportunities for pick pockets to make some cash! My iPhone was stolen from my shoulder bag while taking this picture. I was too distracted by the amazing decor!

This alleyway in the ancient medina of Fes, was tucked away and hidden. This rainbowroad caught our eye when we just happened to look down an alley behind a half open door.
