Wonderful experience at the Allegro!

My daughter-in-law and I enjoyed a wonderful vacation visiting precious family and friends. The Allegro served us well during our visit and I recommend the hotel to others who are looking for a conveniently located hotel close to Einsiedeln and Gross, the Monastery, perfect for hikes and long walks and shopping. The daily breakfast buffet offers a variety of delicious items, and the menu for lunch and dinner will satisfy all appetites. Enjoy your stay at the Allegro!

Black Madonna

Hotel close to the Benediction Monastery to see the black Madonna. It was within walking distance to the Monastery which was what we wanted. They have a strict check-out policy so make sure you are able to leave on time. We received different late fees amounts to stay later but decided to leave for the train at the 10 am checkout time. Hotel room had everything we needed for our stay.

Solo stay at hostel

This was a peaceful and quiet retreat in Einsiedeln. 20.minute walk to the abbey or train station, about 8 minutes to the nearest bus stop. Theres plenty of nature around the property, and my room had a twin bed, a sink, a chair and table and a closet. I also had a big window for fesh air. I think this is a great option for travelers and hikers. Breakfast is served every morning and i was able to sit in the small library and visit the onsite chapel. I They also have a playground and basketball court. I will stay here everytime i visit Einsiedeln

The staff is wonderful

Overall, it is a hotel that offers a lot, with absolutely honest rates. The silence, tranquility and peace of the location in the greenery, the ample free parking, the large park, the very varied buffet breakfast included in the price, the large solarium terrace are all characteristics that can be found simply by visiting the website of the hotel. What you discover only by coming there are the splendid human relationships that are established with all the people who work there and who literally care about the well-being of the guests. Unfortunately I had to come to this splendid Swiss canton not for holiday or work, but to have my dog ​​treated in a famous veterinary oncology center not far from the hotel. Every day those who met me asked me about my dog, worried about how she was and tried to help me in every way to have as little discomfort as possible in a moment in my life that was certainly not easy. I don't want to name anyone, I just want to thank all the staff for their great dedication to their work and above all for their sensitivity

quiet, safe, and very friendly property in a beautiful area. Great for travelers who like to take long walks and see the panoramic views and a quaint little town with a historic cathedral. The hotel was a little odd for a Westerner as it seemed to be a combined hostel/summer camp/hotel. The on-site restaurant offered very tasty food and the drink selection was local and very good. Breakfast was provided and had a great variety of options.
