Very nice stay for our short visit. Room was smaller than anticipated. Good selection of food items for breakfast.

Great breakfast, friendly helpful staff. Easy to walk to castle etc. Easy connection from airport to Haymarket bus stop - then short walk to hotel. Would choose again.

The so-called 'comfy room' was little more than a 'cell' - capitalist/corporate greed at its most blatant. Staff nice enough however. If this is Point A, best to get to Point B as quick as possible.

Our two night stay here was incredible. Very helpful staff, we got an upgraded room upon check in and couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

The Point A Morrison St Hotel is a lovely small hotel: staff was efficient and friendly; room and lobby were immaculately clean; breakfast was available but many places in the immediate area to eat; convenient to the tram, Scotrail stop and a short walk to city sites Room was a bit small with limited clothes hanging space, but other amenities and location more than compensated for this. Highly recommend

We had a great experience st this hotel! Rooms were super clean and comfortable. Near main steeets. Didn’t use taxis at all.

Room was quite small and did not like the glass door on bathroom which did not close properly. Staff were all lovely and very helpful allowed us to check in early which was helpful. Good position to walk into city centre.

Grata service and room was really queen. Only complaint is the bed and pillows were insanely uncomfortable. As the room is small in the first place (which is normally fine), the tiny & uncomfortable bed made the experience not great.

Rudest staff/manager and worst budget inn as this is not even a hotel. Had previously booked for 2 guests and as we got to the hotel, my parents and I were asked to book another room as the other one can't be in the room which we understood. Have contacted Expedia to make it to 3 guests instead but they weren't able to as they already checked us in. We went into the room to talk about booking another room or hotel as my parents wanted us to be all together in one room. So by 2pm, we booked a much better (which I should've done in the first place) with the nicest and kindest front desk agents. We went to the new hotel to check in and went back to Point A to grab our stuff and next thing we know, Expedia called me to let me know that they will call the police on us if one wouldn't leave the hotel, unbelievable and very inconsiderate for them to not even ask or think that we're only taking our stuff to transfer to the other hotel. Money wasn't the problem as we will truly book another as 3 guests can't be accomodated but this kind of welcome to us to this beautiful country was beyond unpleasant, discourteous and ill-mannered. We truly understand that they're doing their job but there's a better way of handling this but to threaten us was a different thing. We didn't even touch a single thing from this inn and not even a single soul slept in the room we still managed to pay because of what happened. I will never recommend this to anyone.

This place was great only downside is that there’s no parking available. We had to pay a parking spot 2 blocks away so not terrible. Walk to the Edinburgh castle it’s only 12 minutes.

This hotel is very modern and incredibly clean. The rooms are pretty small. We had one of the larger rooms and it was small. The bed was very comfortable and linens were spotless. The breakfast was very good, and the lounge area was quite big, so guests could hang out there if they were too cramped in their rooms. The rooms themselves don’t have a lot of amenities, no frig or coffee/tea pot. Only bath towels. No closet. That being said, we enjoyed our stay here. The location was a short walk to the Haymarket train station and a bus stop was just outside of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Quiet street still close to everything. Hotel staff are awesome and there’s 24 hour desk personnel. They also have snacks, coffee, and a bar in house that stays open late with fair prices. Great tea room across the street (honeycomb tea room) with affordable breakfast ran by a local chef.

Stayed here in March 24 and were very happy with our choice of hotel. The rooms were a bit on the small side but we found everything to to be spotlesssly clean. The staff were excellent, very friendly and approachable. We would definely recommend this hotel.

The staff were quite friendly and helpful. Also the place was clean. Not too convenient, but good enough. My room was quite spartan. There were no amenities whatsoever. No water, coffee, or tea not even tissues. I felt fortunate to have toilet tissue. The place, however, was clean and the staff kind and accommodating and all in all that is what counts.

Zimmer waren absolut okay, alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind von dort aus zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind sauber und modern über Panele bedienbar ( Licht, Lüftung etc. ). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room, although small, was quite comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the towels were large and fluffy. Breakfast was great too.

Mejor de lo que esperaba
Teníamos reservado 5 noches, estuve antes leyendo opiniones de otros clientes y hemos estado mucho mejor de lo esperado. El hotel es muy nuevo, las personas que te atienden no pueden ser más amables, nos ayudaban en todo lo que solicitábamos. La habitación es muy completa, es verdad que faltan armarios pero con un poco de imaginación te apañas, La limpieza es cada 3 días pero ya me ha pasado antes en otros hoteles de Europa. Calidad/precio es estupendo.
