Dear Barry,Many thanks for taking your time to rate us on Expedia and to let us know about the issues that you enconter in your stay. At the end of 2022, we did out rollup replacement of all the matresses in the rooms, but we will investigate as you should't feel the springs as it is a quite new matress. The pull cords for the blinds should have enough power to hold togueter when you pull it, it does comes apart for health and safety concerns but you should be able to pull the cords normally.
