Nobody comes to check for housekeeping. The room was like a sauna. Extremely hot rooms, creaky floors, dirty carpet and windows. Windows don't open. Bathroom water pressure is just awful. "Comfortable and well equipped room with air conditioning a particular benefit during the heat wave! Overall quality of service and food did not match the price level which was expensive for what was provided. In particular the additional charge for certain breakfast items, even though on a bed & breakfast rate was excessive. Service, though, was excellent including finding and keeping items we inadvertently left in the hotel room."

"The staff were extremely helpful when we suffered a bad experience with our food on our first night's stay. Stick to the basic meals on the menu, like the burgers and fish and chips! We booked a bed, breakfast and evening meal deal for 2 nights, to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but, on reflection, should have booked everything separately, because we would be over £100 better off!! Apart from being placed at the worst, and least private, table in the restaurant, we only had a limited menu...

"Great hotel, easy to park and room was really nice. No air con but there was a fan provided. Unfortunately tv did not work or the telephone. Receptionist said they were unaware and it couldn’t be fixed but offered access to the spa and drinks. However I already had access & had bought drinks in the spa. Spa would be very busy with day guests in the day. Breakfast was great and great choice available. "

"On arrival Bleesed on reception was helpful and polite. I was taken away by the sheer heat reception it was like an oven. Their was extra tea and coffee available to help yourself to but no milk showing the dirty residue of old milk in the tub. First issue room on the second floor with a lift out of use, not helpful when you are alone with a fair bit of luggage no assistance to haul it up 4 flights of stairs. Once in the twin room first thing I notice we're the bright red walls with lots of pain...

"Disappointing stay raised with the manager but no meaningful resolution. The staff were friendly and the room had some positives, including clean linen, a good-sized TV and convenient parking, but unfortunately the overall experience was very poor. The hotel felt in need of a thorough clean and better maintenance. There was thick dust on ledges and surfaces, smeared glass, sticky breakfast tables, dusty artificial plants and noticeable limescale in the bathroom. The extractor fan did not work,...
