"Arrived at 2am to be told the room was double booked. They obviously think we are fools as they blamed it on a computer malfunction. I have never heard of a computer booking a hotel room without any human input. We were one of four arrivals who were turned away and sent to alternate accommodation. This, by law, is supposed to be of at least equal or better quality to the originally booked hotel room. We were sent to IBIS which is basically a tiny box room with a bed. "This is a charming country house and everyone was amazing. We enjoyed a walk around the property and the food was spot on. You can’t go wrong staying here if in the neighborhood. If you’re also familiar wrote ceramics, you’ll find several ships about 10-15 mins away that is a great place to browse and shop. "

"I was given room 3 which was average and definitely not like the advertised photos or reviews, there was not hot water which happens, I was then given an 'up grade' to an upstairs room where the shower head was broken and the electric shower when set at medium went from cold to burning on its own, clearly faulty. Bed was very comfortable but the room was dated. Unable to offer comment on the breakfast as I had to leave before it started, 8am is quite late for midweek."
