"Sadly the friendliness and helpful nature of the staff cannot excuse some of the basic fundamental issues that I have experienced over the last few stays at this hotel. "Overall the stay was excellent the hosts were amazing and flexible suggesting places to eat for dinner nearby. The breakfast was delicious. The room was to a high standard and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. Only two reasons it didn’t get a 5 star. The road into the hotel is a dirt track and we had heavy rain and the potholes or rather gorges were filled with water and impossible to see how deep. "Bathroom was poor with outdated bath and shower which was dangerous to use. The group booking for 9 people did not seem to exist. Very poor internal communication. The bedroom doors were not soft close and banged all night as people went to their rooms. We were refused entry to the dining area at 7.00 pm as we hadn't booked never having being informed of such a procedure at reception.
