"You get what you pay for, no frills. The budget room with queen size bed is too small for 2 persons. The lighting is rather dim. AC is noisy and hardly working. Breakfast selections are better than average."

"On 8 August 2023 at 13:21, I called Acre of Africa Guest House to open the gate. They answered and said they will open the gate. In South Africa, too many people have hijacked at gates so I left rather than wait for them to respond. They finally called me back 17 minutes later. - but by then it was too late. Waiting for them to open the gate at night could have resulted in my kidnapping and murder - it's a scary thought. Now they're telling me they won't refund my money because I didn't wait at...

"One O Eight was the perfect stay. The room and property was spotless (the bath in the room was such a night treat), and the staff were all incredibly lovely. I opted for a hotel pickup from the airport as a solo female traveller and it was fairly priced and not much more than an Uber & I really enjoyed chatting with the lovely driver that collected me. The chef was so nice and made me a really lovely vegan meal for dinner and they packed me up a breakfast box for my early departure the next...

"It's right on the airport grounds so it's nice for connecting with flights. The food was average and all the staff appear grumpy. I normally don't notice this but that seemed to be the case here. Few employees smiled or were friendly. When I went to check out the desk employee took the card and slip it was in, divided it and didn't even look at me. A thank you for staying with us would have been nice."

"Our reservation for two nights was mismanaged and it took hours to resolve the issue. Front desk should have asked for a CC upon check in and did not causing several issues with the restaurant. Great location and clean. "

"Das Hotel ist als Zwischenstopp ganz in Ordnung. Der Flughafentransfer geht alle 30 min. Im Restaurant mussten wir mehr ca. 1 Stunde auf unser Essen warten. 3 Gerichte waren sehr gut, eines mussten wir zurückgeben da es kalt war. Der Service ist je nach Kellner von sehr gut bis hin zu ich habe das Wort Service noch nicht gehört. "
