"We were greeted and efficiently given the details for our stay. Nice features like 7/24 coffee/tee, guest refrig, great breakfast choices, etc. etc. Everything was wonderful. The Inn was not busy and their nearby restaurant was closed, so the level of activity (i,e. noise and activity) made what was not the most soundproof of walls and ceilings even more accommodating for a restful stay. Enjoyed everything and would definitely stay again and again. Guest book in our room had confirming entries of many enjoyable stays."

"The room was appointed/decorated just beautifully and looked towards the lake which was a short walk away. The air conditioner worked very well and there was a smart TV. The only thing missing for us was a mini fridge, just bc we had purchased food earlier. But everything else was just perfect. The inn is just lovely and in superb condition. There is also a charming bar and restaurant. We had both dinner, and breakfast which was lovely and included with our stay. I had fresh blueberry pancakes and made to order eggs with fresh fruit, juice and coffee, and my husband had yogurt with fresh fruit and granola with maple syrup drizzled on top and also made to order eggs. The owners are incredibly nice, truly, not a cliche. We talked about some wonderful history and connections we both had. The other guests staying also were treated so kindly. I would recommend Green Trails Inn to anyone traveling thru Vermont and wanting a New England Bed and Breakfast but in an updated and renovated charming inn."

"Stayed at the quaint Lyme Inn for a nearby concert. From the homemade chocolate chip cookies at check in to concierge finding us a ride to/fro the venue, this stay couldn’t have been better! Lovely Inn and gardens too. Lastly, breakfast is NOT to be missed. Great stay and we’ll be back for sure!"

"Positives: New England charm, (buildings and location) welcoming and accommodating staff, spacious room with comfy beds, sumptuous breakfasts included, many places to relax in common areas inside and out, bar and dinner on-site. Negatives: several electrical outlets were worn out and didn’t hold plugs in room 19, couldn’t darken the room without impeding airflow from the window ac unit, stair-only access to second floor plus 2 hallway doors to open before getting to room. This was awkward with luggage when checking in/out, but I’m guessing this is for fire code reasons. (see “New England charm”above)"

"The staff was helpful. The room was clean. There was some 1st floor construction that it would have been nice to know about prior to check in. It didn’t impact our stay but made things a bit dusty. Very conveniently located to downtown area."

"Here's the thing about the Coolidge. Its old. They don't hide that. However, the rooms are clean, the staff is nice, you can walk to dinner and sweet art galleries. I was very happy with my stay. If you like sterile hotels this isn't the place for you. If you like hotels with some character and fantastic staff definitely give it a try!"
