East Glacier Park is a unique and very small city. The Whistling Swan fit right into that description. It is old, and it is dated but still, it has a TV, a microwave and a refrigerator! However, the carpet in our room was a shag is desperate need of replacement. The bathroom was a nice size but the tub was broken and the shower stall had some mildew in the bottom.
When we arrrived, the sign at the back of building told us to enter in the front door. But then there was a sign on the front door, telling us to go down two blocks to the Trading Company where we were checked in. The owner was pleasant and friendly. When we entered in the front door of building there was definitely a musty smell which thankfully did not extend to our room. The entrance room was quite cluttered.
