Dirty, very shabby and totally unsuitable
I am afraid this inn is in very poor condition. The rooms and furnishings were stained and dirty. We actually did not stay there because of the appalling conditions. and ended up driving on to Kalispell as there was nothing else available. For the price that we had to pay in advance, this was unacceptable. When we decided to leave, my wife approached the desk manager who promised that she would arrange a refund of 60% of the charge. This has not happened. I think I will not be booking through hotels.com in the future

Property had a foul smell. Sheets were not clean. Old apple was found near the bed. Bathroom toilet was dirty. no tv connection. would never stay here again.

Zero stars - literally left and drove 1.5 hrs to another hotel after dark just to feel clean and safe. Dirty room, couldn't get clean sheets, no food, no breakfast, rude employees, dead old coffee in pot in room, fridge was open and full of water like defrosting when we arrived. Remote didn't work. When room filled with smoke from neighbors stove being dirty, our room filled with smoke and nothing was done for either of us.

We were in a side cabin and it was a little rough. The floor was not level and the curtains were nailed to the wall. There needs to be some clean up around the grounds. The bed and towels were clean. I slept great.

The shower was decent size. Everything else was worn out One renter came home that night only to find their stuff in the hallway. Seems owner wanted to paint even though it was rented. We had someone pounding on the office door late at night. A little scary. Website said breakfast was available. There was none. I guess the place was green in that they never came in to clean the room during our stay. Short answer is do not stay at this place

the property was not well kept on the outside or the inside. the fire alarms had been taken out of the room; the carpet was filthy. I would not put this property on your list on places to stay. they over booked the room next to ours and the was a quit the flight between guests for about two hours outside our room. They police had to be called at 1:00 AM to help the guests that were in their car, waiting for manager but the manager never showed up.

Worst stay ever. And charged for rooms I nvr recd.
Had to go to parking lot to get person to check in…he said his break wasn’t over.. Have pictures of comforter that had questionable stains on it.. shredded paper in corner like mouse chewed. Wanted 2 rooms with double beds..wasn’t able to get. Bathroom had plumbing problems drained slow, toilet almost ran over. Was advised before check in of problems but manager closed office early and wouldn’t answer night bell.

This sad place was the worst motel stay I've ever had. DO NOT STAY HERE. It was seriously overpriced as well. The room was dilapidated, not very clean, mattress completely worn out, bathroom and plumbing a bit scary. People were nice but didnt seem to know what was going on. They couldnt find the room key at first, then werent available at checkout.

The rooms looked like they had not been vacuumed in weeks and the carpet was stained. On the website it stated they had free breakfast which they didn't. I feel it was way over priced. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Pay the extra and go somewhere else.
This place is nasty. Windows have no screens. No AC. Mold halfway up shower curtain and all across the back of the fridge. Room also had a nasty order. We sprayed Lysol 4 times around the room. Light above 1 of the beds is held on by a wire attached to a screw. Plugs are falling out of the wall and when you try to plug something in it just falls out.It also looked like it hadn't had a deep clean in years. If it wasn't the only game in town, we would have left. People beware the pictures online are not true.

Room was a remote really old dated rundown cabin. Door had signs of being jimm’d open. Tub/shower water would not tirn off. This was totally misrepresented in add and for the cost is ridiculous. This location is not even up to A $29 motel 6 standard. An embarrassment for expedia to even list is. Traveler beware!

Run down property. Upon arrival we were informed they had booked us at their sister propertu 20 minutes away in Browning. Very disappointing as we did want to stay there. The Browning motel was run down , the window was plastic wrap!! Unsafe, loud, dogs running loose. Toilet didnt flush, wifi not working. We left at 830 pm.unable to stay

Deplorable & Misleading
The condition of this facility had definitely substantially decayed since these pictures were taken and the AAA rating was bestowed upon it. Air conditioning inoperative/ineffective, ridden with insects/spiders, wifi service inoperative, no landline phones. The list goes on and on. Paid premium for this room. Slept with my handgun under my pillow. Far better accommodations on the other side of the tracks.

Terrible Experience!!
On our arrival, we did the check-in. We went to our room. The room was horrible. The sheets on the bed was not changed; They were dirty. All around the room very dusty. The bathroom was extremely dirty. Nothing works there. They're not profissional. I heard many complains around for the same problem We were supposed to have breakfast; but it was only coffee, yogurt, juice, and bar of cereal. Never bread or milk. The first day it started at 10am, The second day, we left at 8:30am, the office was closed; so, No breakfast. The third day, they opened at 8:15am. Glacier National Park, such a beautiful place, with such very bed experience in a place cannot be called "Hotel"

RIP OFF !!!! DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE !!!!!
Stay away from this place! Pictures are misleading. my room looked nothing like the pictures in the web site. Room has window ac in the bathroom! Our friend had no ac. No cover on some outlets, head of bed lower than the foot, nasty green carpet which felt dirty. Not enough towels and when asked for more, was told they were being washed- Plus when booked I was given a price that said "including taxes and fees" This is NOT true- got charge another 98 dollars on 3rd party booking. I see this as fraud! Tried to reach the owner but she would not call back or answer my emails. Breakfast was laughable. Coffee, milk, yogert, and protein bar. No place to sit either. Can't even count on coffee at 8 like the sign said. We ended up eating at a restaurant nearby. I don't write reviews but this place was so misleading that people need to be warned! ALSO hotels.com needs to change the wording to let people know that they will be charged more than the price agreed too. They gave no notification either- just charged my card for higher price in full just a couple of days after I booked it (thinking it was at a lower price) I saw other people stated they could not get refunds and owner would not respond! So, DO NOT GO HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, the worst ever. No breakfast even though it states there is. No Wifi (even though they provide a password it doesn’t work), no TV because it has to be connected to Wifi. Absolutely no service in the area to even place a call. No one in the office to ask for more towels or anything else. The surrounding area is a ghost town- no where to eat, nothing to do. The motel itself is very run down with broken windows. An absolute nightmare! Would have stayed in St Mary village or West Glacier if I could go back in time.

Dancing Bear Hotel should not be on hotels.com!! We drove our Harley 450 miles and when we arrived to check in our rooms were not available. We had reserved 4 rooms back in March. We asked for a refund and we want your help getting our $ back. We paid $452.00 per room. It was the most horrid experience we have dealt with!!! Very disappointed

Drive to Browning
Might be one of my worst stays ever. In general the room was clean. No air...the room was 85. In MT this might not be a problem but there were no screens on the windows. I had no choice to open the windows and let the bugs in. There was no fan sp basically i was uncomfortable all night long. To top it off...the mattress was way past needing replacement as were the pillows. At $25/night this would be overpriced. At $235 this is unbelievable. The owners depend on the other options filling up and thos being the only choice. Its a shame because it would not take much to make this ok. Also. Wifi is non existent. Also there is a bar across the street doing karoke til 2AM. Wouldn't have been a problem if air was running. Almost forgot - the windows have really beat up shades with holes in them. It was like leaving the lights on all night.

the room had broken windows and because of that there was swarm of mosquitoes in the house . The whole house was not dusted and sticky . The bed sheets were not clean and the mattress was yellow . The sofa was covered with dust and stains .The bathroom floor had a huge red stain that looked like blood and the tub area tile and floor was cracked and broken .Overall the house was not in livable condition .

Overrated Inn
Dancing Bear takes advantage of there being few places to stay near Glacier National Park. They charge high prices and deliver as little as possible. Our room was in desperate need of upgrades. No soap, no internet, soft mattresses, curtains that didn’t close, no AC, broken reading lamp, cracked shower floor, etc.

There is nothing that we liked. We booked a king room last August. When we arrived we were given a small room with a queen bed, a broken air conditioner, screens with holes in them, dead bug on the floor, no wi-if (which is important because the cell service is limited there), mold in the fridge, no coffee pot, no hair dryer, and many burned out light bulbs. We only stayed one of our scheduled nights and are trying to get a refund on the second night and a discount on the first night. But you have to call someone else about the refund who then calls the owner. We’ll see.

Do not stay at this property! The room was stated as a non-smoking, well that was not true, barley walked in the door and you could smell the stench of smoke. I went back to the desk and asked about it. And he said oh yes it is non-smoking. He came to the room and tried smelling everything, knowing very well it stunk! At the time he claimed it in the heater. Well the wall heater didn’t have a cord and wasn’t even plugged it! So now we have no heat or air either. I asked if there were any other rooms available and he said no. He said he would try and talk to the owner and get us some sort of refund. Well after reading all the reviews I know that won’t happen! We had to go find another room at another hotel and spend another $325 to feel safe and clean. When we went to return the key he didn’t even say a word to us. He knows what’s wrong and still falsely advertises. This listing should not even be allowed. Guess I would have to say I am also disappointed in Expedia for allowing it to be listed.

We did not stay. It was terrible in the 209 house. We ended leaving and having to drive 4 hours to the next available hotel. That house was disgusting. Open duct work with a huge hole in it. Small very old space heaters for heat. The bedding was stained and gross. The house is not up to code and should not be allowed to be used.

Cannot recommend
We found it adequate at best. Not sure how it got a AAA club approval. Smoke detector was missing, there was no extra towels or bathmat for the floor no cups or glasses in the room no tissues and the header over the door fell down as we were leaving. the parking was tight and the lanes were to narrow. Never could get the wifi to connect and we had no cell phone connection.

Wow. Where do I start? Check in, they were not prepared for us. There were feral children running around while the man cleaned our room. We asked for extra pillows, watched the man get the pillows off a bed in a dirty room and handed them over. There were mascara marks on the pillows probably from the tears of the previous guest for paying 200$ for a terrible room. There was no soap, we ran out of toilet paper and there is no one in the office at night. The heat was a small space heater. One bed was missing top sheets. The windows open but no screens so you could have a raccoon problem in no time if left open. The TV was just for show. It didn’t actually work. There was a coffee pot, coffee, but no filters or cups. The “breakfast included” was a couple of jimmy dean sausage sandwiches in the fridge and some juice boxes. There’s no microwave to heat them up either. Maybe they were left by another guest?? The train rumbling through added to the ambiance. Another guest came, changed some lightbulbs and promptly left, which we should have done too but I was informed I had already paid and wouldn’t be getting my money back. It was the same price as the Hilton in Great Falls. The good?? It’s close to Glacier national park.. I can’t think of anymore good. If you’re desperate for a room and don’t mind catching a cold from feral children, it’s marginally better than sleeping in the car. I’d recommend driving on through or pitching a tent.

Clean, comfortable, quiet
I needed a "base camp", a place to sleep as I explored Glacier Park. Dancing Bears was a great place to stop along the way. Clean, comfortable, quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful.
