"Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear...

"Absolutely lovely stay at The Lister Arms. Staff are amazing and the reason it's so good. They are helpful and friendly. The only very small downside is the cost. A little overpriced but otherwise beautiful. Couldn't really fault anything at all. The food was to die for."

"The farm has excellent views to the surrounding countryside, and is within walking distance of Skipton. The farmhouse was spacious and the rooms were cleaned every day. Staff members were always helpful during my say, and the breakfasts were very good."

"Had a great stay. Staff were wonderful. Meals in the restaurant were the best I’ve had out for a long time. I’d travel the hour just for the food. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. It would have been flawless if there was an 2nd pillow and the door from the stairs entry didn’t bang so loundly when people walked through. Both an easy fix. Would definitely recommend"

The person was also slamming the furniture outside the hallway. This went on a few times and then we saw another person receiving deliveries at 3 in the morning and slamming the front door several times. The next morning this same person was...

"Lovely cosy accommodation but not in the inn itself. Well equipped but was cold on arrival, had to turn radiators on. Comfy bed and in a stunning location. Lovely pub with open fire."
