"The hotel is in need of a boost of energy. It lacked the core emphasis on hospitality. Overall, it is situated in a beautiful area. However, next time in the area, I will be looking to stay at the Hampton Inn. It is better kept with a more well rounded setup for daily practicality. Or, an inexpensive motel that is equally clean, similar condition exterior, yet, with a fraction of the price and inconvenience."

"This property is clean, well maintained and very convenient if you are visiting a student at RPI. For the most part, everyone on the staff was very helpful and welcoming. But I will say there was one gentleman that was working the front desk- one of the managers I presume. And while I was having breakfast and talking to the waitress about how I was from California, and she was telling me how beautiful La Jolla is and she loved visiting San Diego , this Hilton worker had the nerve to come walking out from behind the front desk, intrude on our conversation and ask about gas prices in California. And when I agreed, they were a little bit higher here than New york for sure, he told me that’s what I deserved for living in Los Angeles. I was shocked. “deserved?” I deserve some kind of punishment for living in California? Such a strange and rude projection. He was not part of the initial conversation. Injected himself in it just so that he could come over and spew whatever political upset he was having with our state. Have no idea what his deal was. But his hostility dampened my breakfast. The waitress on staff actually pulled him aside. Had some choice words with him and he went away. It happens. I get it. The staff for the most part at this hotel was great. But this little man definitely wanted to have some kind of fight. Unfortunately, for him I was not willing to participant."

"Hands down the worst hotel experience we’ve had For context, we come 3–4 times a year to visit family. We know it’s La Quinta, not a luxury resort, and we’ve always been fine with that. Clean, quiet, functional—that’s the bar. It used to clear it. Not this time. The hotel was overrun by a youth sports team. Think unsupervised kids sprinting through hallways, trash and food everywhere, and constant noise. Staff presence? Nowhere to be found. A real “family-friendly chaos” vibe. ** I have two boys so I mean that sincerely ** Then the room. First one: broken TV, dirty bathroom, and “free” Wi-Fi that now requires an account. Second room: same broken TV. Third room: finally semi-clean, TV briefly functional. Front desk mentioned they’d switched to Spectrum—makes sense. We got little sleep thanks to the hallway Olympics, and by morning, the TV had stopped working again. At this point, expectations are exceptionally low. The free breakfast wasn't bad but I should have eaten it in my room (see above). That's on me. La Quinta, be better. - Fix the elevator (a year is a long “temporary” outage) - Deep clean the bathrooms—they’re unacceptable - Address the Spectrum issues—this change clearly isn’t working"
