Adventure the Bruce Inn - Recently Renovated With Outdoor Hot Tub
10/10 Excellent
"Only stayed for 1 night but the cabin I stayed in was extremely clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very helpful during the check in process and provided the necessary information related to the heating system and hot tub usage. While I didn't use the hot tub during my stay (not enough time), it seemed to be well managed. I do want to give a shout out to the front desk receptionist who helped me with the check in process. I had called a couple hours before reaching to clarify my time of arrival as it was later in the evening and I wasn't sure if that impacted check in. Since my stay was prior to May (off season), while on the call I asked about the timing of restaurants in Tobermory to grab a quick bite to eat since the Inn is only a couple minutes away from the harbour area. While checking google maps, I did see the timing showing restaurants would be open until 10 pm but sometimes google map timings are inaccurate during off season. The receptionist called me back 5 mins later clarifying that after checking with one of the restaurants, they confirmed it would only be open until 8 pm and advised me to pick up something to eat before reaching there. That was extremely helpful and she went out of her way to ensure I had the correct information. Definitely recommend this place; I will try to go back the next time I visit Bruce Peninsula."
"overall it was good experience but too many restrictions. the best part was view from room and breakfast. you can hear people talking in nearby rooms. less privacy as people can still peek in your room from backdoors. "
