Nice staff and excellent welcome and glass of bubbly on arrival, nice and comprehensive breakfast options. Room was comfortable and roomy. Nice shower. One or two minor tired features in room but very minor. Our only disappointment was the bar was closed on Sunday and Monday? No idea why - so they lost some good business from a party of 5 staying. Hotel is a short walk from the main shopping and restaurant area of town. The Hotel though does sit on the edge of the Japanese area - so lot's of those kinds of eateries closer by.

Exceptional Staff.

I have written to the manager already to say what an asset they have in their staff. I have been all over the world, staying in all kinds of hotel for business and pleasure. The staff at the Leonardo in Dusseldorf were exceptional. Good hotel close to the centre, plenty of local bars and restaurants.

Overall the stay was fine, the only bad thing was that the hotel parking area was full so we had to find another parking spot which wasn’t easy and in the end we had to pay way more then expected for parking because the fee was higher in most parking garages.

I was very happy with the hotel. Staff were polite spoke English and very helpful, arrived early and they got me room right away. The room was spacious clean and comfortable. Shower had good pressure and lots hot water. The breakfast included with my staf was outstanding. Regretted I had to catch early flight and missed it second day. Only negative was air conditioning did not work and open window for good breeze but faced front street so was noisy. I would book this hotel again next time without question.

Nice and stylish hotel with small but well equipped rooms. Great location within walking distance to most of the places I needed to get to. Staff at night didn't speak much English but still tried to be helpful. No restaurant or bar open upon my late arrival which was quite inconvenient. The only super disappointing thing was dirty towels - both of them. One had less of a mark, another one had a clear palm print of dust or something of the likes on it. I commented

The hotel is at a nice location and the staff and breakfast are great. The room was very small, including the bathroom and shower entrance. We were located at the top floor and in summer the AC is by far not cooling the room. The staff is aware of this and even a fan is in the closet as they know it will be to warm anyway. They even tell you up front…. In summer top floor is a no go for sure.

Leonardo Boutique Hotel Düsseldorf

I paid full price for this hotel room and I was given a very small room with the bed attached to the wall and there was hardly enough room to walk around. The lamp next to the bed has the bulb broken and the middle part of the bulb was still inside the lamp, very dangerous siatuation. The bathroom was clean but it was a tiny one and hardto walk between the shower, toilet and the sink. As a silver member I think I deserve better. Overall I was very disappointed for this business stay. I definitely will not recommend this hotel to my collegaues. The staff was very pleasant.

Et helt OK hotell som dessverre ikke når helt opp

Jeg har bodd på dette hotellet ved et par anledninger. Hotellet er hyggelig og helt ok. Service, tilstand etc er helt på snittet. Ikke noe spesielt å klage over, men heller ikke noe som løfter opplevelsen over det ordinære. At hotellet blir kalt et "Boutique"-hotell setter ihvertfall noen krav til standard og opplevelse ("A small, intimate, and often luxurious hotel, typically with under 100 rooms, that offers a unique, personalized experience focused on design, ambiance, and attentive service"). Det treffer ikke min opplevelse av å være unikt, service er ganske passiv, og det er ingenting som gir en personlig opplevelse. Men på den andre siden: Hva kan man kreve for under 100€ pr natt? Gjerne forventningene ved å ta bort "Boutique" så fungerer hotellet helt fint.

La estancia en el hotel, buena. El objetivo era desarrollar actividad de turismo, si más pretensiones, pero la habitación que se nos proporcionó era muy pequeña (505), sin mesilla de noche en el cabecero de la cama, sin sitio para dejar objetos de viaje, ducha incómoda, muy pequeña. Una sola silla, echando de menos, en cualquier caso, una mínima mesita auxiliar. Por lo demás, desayuno bueno, y estancia aceptable.
