If you want to cook, if you want to just rest after a long day outside, the views are amazing. Also just to top it all of, she has two beatiful dogs that are the best!! "Ascrib’s View is a gem. Strongly recommend to anyone visiting Skye. It’s nice to be away from the bustle of Portree, while still being close to many activities. We enjoyed hiking the Quirang and Fairy Pools, and had an amazing speed boat safari with Isle of Skye Seafari in Portree. The cottage is peaceful and clean, with modern fixtures, a full kitchen and incredible views. Billy and Helen were very easy to communicate with and were very responsive. They also squeezed us in for a booking at the restaurant at their hotel around the corner. It’s a great place to come back to at the end of the day, and a perfect base camp for exploring the island and relaxing."
