"Overall an okay stay, our room had a funny smell when we first went in, however we kept being disturbed by door banging in the corridors most of the night as they didn’t have soft closing door hinges on them and the rooms aren’t very sound proof, also not much choice food wise on the menu for anyone who is a fussy eater so had to walk out to find somewhere to eat, also found the hotel quite dark when you walk into reception and not overly appealing, in comparison to other hotels."

"3 of us booked single rooms for a stay while seeing Iron Maiden at Knebworth. Didn't want to drive from Sheffield and back the same day as the show. We had left it late to book rooms and this was the lowest priced place anywhere within an hour's drive of the gig. "Dusty corridors due to construction works within the hotel. Rooms acoustic are poor, we had our room on the ground floor and could hear everything from the floor above, footsteps and conversations. Not ideal if you want to rest. Only large towel provided no face/hand towel. Heating system is sluggish, it took a few hours to get the room heated from 16° to 20°, electricic heater on the wall couldn't be used as it was dirty and emanated burnt smell when switched on."

"The hotel was clean, but the room was small, which was not a problem for us. I booked this room for one night, our first one in London, after a late flight from Italy. The breakfast was delicious, much better than I expected. There were plenty of options and everything was fresh."

"I stay here regularly. I can't fault much. I think the stairs need to have better visibility so they can be used, especially if you're only on the 1st floor. Staff are very accommodating in the restaurant and bar. My ONLY criticism is breakfast. The fried eggs have never been great but on my most recent visit, they were inedible. Like rubber. "We stayed overnight for a concert Sunny on reception was so friendly and helpful. We had a late flight home the following day and were able to store our bags so we could head out into London for the day. Excellent value for money."

"The room was lovely and clean. The air con in the room was very much appreciated given the fact it was so hot when we visited! Staff were so lovely and friendly. The grounds and lovely and safe, so our kids could wander around and feel a bit more independent even though we could still see them. Lovely, quiet pool, and the kids loved the peacocks!"

"Treated like a second class person as we had a guide dog. Put in an awful room! Requested a fridge and to have a patio door but ignored. Paid premium price £171 of which £25was for our Guide Dog who is cleaner than a lot of their guests apparently. Compared to our previous stay it was very poor. Even said we were not allowed to stay in the room we had as it had been refurbished and no longer a dog room.
