"I did not receive my check-in information until a few hours before check-in time and after emailing the hotel. This was quite disconcerting. The fact that it is a self check-in process was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. The pillows were too soft for my liking. The only toiletries in the bathroom were 6 or 8 small bottles of shampoo and a bottle of hand wash. "Reception staff were very pleasant. Family room was very spacious and comfortable if a bit too warm. The food in Fara Ogs was delicious and there was a good selection at breakfast. The pool facilities are good."

"We couldn't get the coffee machine to work in our room and a member of staff came within a couple of minutes and sorted it for us. The room was spotless and lovely and warm. We were able to adjust the temperature easily. Both the room and bathroom were very roomy. Plenty of tea and coffee available and the bed was really comfortable with fantastic pillows "

"Beautiful cottage, we were here during Darragh but it was warm and comfortable . Only thing I would say is if you don’t know how to light a peat fire research it , lol we had Donagle family to show us the way. But it was wonderful staying here, you can’t go wrong especially if you have a large group with all the bedrooms. I would definitely stay here again "

"We came for my husband’s birthday with our one year old son. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were brilliant. My son has wheat allergies and the chef serving breakfast noticed me pick up a GF cereal for him, and then offered other GF items including bread and sausages. The next morning when we came down for breakfast, as soon as she saw us she went and made him some more sausages! It was the nicest hotel breakfast we have had in ages. My husband who doesn’t usually eat or enjoy breakfast...

"An amazing stay in the farmhouse. 4 great bedrooms, a substantial dining kitchen, all the amenities you could need. Only 2mins drive to Rathmullan centre and handily located for the Wild Atlantic Way, Ballymastocker Beach, Portsalon, Fanad and general touring of Donegal. We will definitely be back."
