"Amross Motel was a fantastic stop for us on our drive around the South Island. Barry and Donna are so friendly and helpful, have a fantastic knowledge of the local area. The motel is super clean and has everything you could possible need for your stay. Guaranteed parking with no extra cost to your stay is a major plus. We stayed in one of the balcony spa rooms. The spa was very enjoyable after a big day of walking. 10/10 for the Amross Motel"

"Showers need a really good clean to get rid of mould. Unpleasant smell when first arriving into room. Room was very large and had everything we needed."

"Although we got a free upgrade to a 2 room suite unit, it is on the 5th floor that requires us to carry our luggage upand down from the elevator that ends at the 4th floor. Also ther us an ongoing construction bearby that causes the room to shake a little while there is piling going on "
