"I cannot recommend this place enough. My husband and I booked on a whim to be close to St Andrews without St Andrews prices. Upon first glance my husband thought I was crazy, he assumed it would be run down, and not offer much because it was not in the city center. He sure changed his tune on that once we checked in. "This was a lovely place to stay which we chose partly because it has some EV charging facilities. The restaurant and bar have a good selection with well kept beer and the staff are helpful and friendly. We especially recommend the panna cotta, however, all the food was good. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and well appointed with tea, coffee and water. We would visit again "

"I had a very nice stay at the Open Arms Hotel. The staff were very welcoming and made me feel at home. The room was first class with a view over the village green and very comfortable.
The lounge area with the open fire is lovely and relaxing being able to have a pre- dinner drink and review the menu.
It was a very enjoyable stay and will definitely be returning again in the very near future."

"Easy to find, well signposted. Lovely clean and well decorated room, ours was on the smaller side. Friendly staff and good food in the bar. Country park nearby for a lovely evening walk"

"We checked in late & were made to feel inconvenient, the kitchen closed long before we arrived which wasn’t the best welcome after long travel.
We also left a laptop charger & staff were not very solution orientated and didn’t help us find a way to retrieve the forgotten item."
