"room was spotless ,hotel gardens where beautiful, dinner and breakfast was amazing.reason for 3 star rating was given due to reception staff not dealing with our complaint of having no hot water when showering before dinner and was not much better the following morning."

"Nice hotel. Restaurant & bar are very nice with decent food offerings and the staff were great. Very friendly and professional. The room was spacious and clean and really appreciated the extra touches like robe & slippers and room service. Decent coffee machine in the rooms too! Only thing I’d say is some of the rooms have a little dated decor, but are well equipped and clean with a comfortable bed and loads of little extras. So for the price & location… great value and definitely will stay...

"We just had one night here before catching the early ferry to Isle of Arran and it was perfect. Good location with allocated parking spot. Easy check in with clear instructions upfront. Well equipped room, nicely decorated and a comfortable bed. We had room 6 at the back, which was very quiet. Also convenient for eating out in town. Would recommend."

"small , well equipped, we'll worth the visit"

"Excellent stay 👍👍🎉"

"The property was in a quiet location near to the town and shops. Good choice of restaurants and eateries nearby. Very clean and comfortable place. Good beds. All the amenities you would require for self-catering. Very enjoyable stay. Would use this place again."

"couldn’t fault it. lovely clean room, good food , outside area very well maintained and plenty of parking. would stay again."

"They never cleaned my room once and I was there for 7 days....I had to go ask for toilet paper and towels........some staff were nice others rather curt....I found the food awful only ate there 3 times that was enough for me did not like the fact you had to go up to the bar order food pay for before I sat down...........Now I have left a necklace there by mistake I have phoned my cousin in the same town and asked her to check with them in room 108 we will see if it has been had back to the...

"Staff were great..Disappointing that the restaurant was closed."

"Front Desk and Wait Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and there was a wonderful dinner menu. We ordered starters and mains and all were exceptionally delicious!"

"The hotel is lovely, we stayed overnight for a wedding in Room 27. The room was clean and fresh, the bathroom was renovated well and was modern. Unfortunately the bed is probably the worst we had ever slept in, we both had a terrible sleep. Two very uncomfortable single mattresses of slightly differing heights pushed together on a divan base, not at all what you would expect at over £200 a night. A mattress topper probably would have solved this issue however it was midnight when we got to bed...

"Very helpful and friendly staff"

"Amazing hotel"

"The room was lovely and finished really well. There were lots of nice touches in the room to make for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and really enjoyed both. Would definitely return if in the area."
