"We were in town for a funeral. Check in was at 1:00 pm and the funeral was at 2:00. We got to the hotel at 12:45 and the reception was extremely rude. She said the room wasn’t ready and we were early. I told her it was no problem, we knew we were a bit early and could wait until the 1:00 check in time. She said that they hadn’t even started cleaning our room and she was mumbling under her breath and be very ugly about it. "We were on the 21st floor and the hot water in the shower and sink never got hot. We stay here all the time and have never encountered a hot water issue. Called the front desk and they said maintenance would look at it. The next morning same thing. Ran the shower and sink for over 20 minutes and the water never got over 94-95 degrees at best. Not sure what the problem was but it definitely was not fixed. We have been on floors 12 through 20 before and this never has occurred."

"clean room but microwave was rusty and corroded inside. Told front desk that it was no need to replace it because I wasnt going to use it anyway. The refrigerator was clean. Bathroom sink and tub had some a few leftover hairs in them. Room smelled a little smoky but I sprayed lysol in air conditioner and on the curtains to refresh the air and room. Staff nice and courteous. aHad some troubles with the remote which according to the front desk was the wrong one. This particular stay was average...

"Everything was good and house keeping was on top of things"

"The room was dirty, smelly, small, the water lukewarm, the aircon made a noise all night I thought it would quit, the sink faucet seemed it would fall off, the few towels were small and thin, the breakfast was sparse. The door to the bathroom did not close leaving a 2” gap because the bottom was warped and coming apart. There was also a dent where it seems someone punched it. They painted the door instead of replacing it."

"This hotel lacks corporate investment. The rooms are clean, but amenities are scarce. There is just one fast food restaurant in this casino and Cattleman restaurant is open for 4 hours day and no room service or breakfast on site. You have to pray for door dash. The Louisiana Board walk is Zombie movie set. I was so disappointed. Food was aweful. I went to KFC and went back Texas."

"Everything was in order and it is not some run down house. Big place with a lot of old times interior and wood carving. The outside is big and great for sitting in peace. I liked the location for getting up to the national forest but also to Lake Bistenau and of course around town. "

"This was my second stay at this location. For some reason the exterior doors were poorly sealed (2x). Many small bugs flying around room. Had to jam towel in door gaps to try and mitigate."

"Staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was too small to feed entire hotel. Elevator broke when I was in it. Construction going on with no warning on website. Several charges to my room still pending a week later with no action taken after I have called several times."

"There was open soap wrappers and the luggage holder was rusted and covered in paint. Majority highway noise all night and bed was rock hard. Breakfast wasn’t nothing great but was good enough yogurt fruit toast waffles eggs and sausage. Pool was clean and seemed like a okay area the residents were quiet. Outside the building was clean and gave plenty of towels in the room."
