"Ida and David were the most wonderful hosts! We were stopping in brockville during a bikepacking trip and they welcomed us and our bikes. The breakfast was incredible, Ida was happy to get up early to make sure we were fueled for the day and had our bottles filled with cold water. The rooms are spacious, and have everything you need. "Small but well appointed room. Great views especially if you climb stairs to top. Stocked with nibbles but only two choices for cereal. It is an arduous climb to room #2 up 4 long flights so not for anyone with bad joints. Beautiful location."

"Location is under major renovations. No hot breakfast, just a brown bag take out; banana / apple, fruit bar, coffee or bottled juice. Hallways in area of rooms is not being cleaned, have to request any house cleaning services. We were not told about this at check-in, so no beds made, fresh towels, etc. The phone in the room was dead. Have to walk around the outside of the building to locate the access door that has been left open to enter the building. Usually this meant walking through a short...

"Very new clean rooms. I like the big showers, those old tubs are just passé . Breakfast was ok, not exciting, but adequate. Nice area for BBQing, siting outside, and the dog area was very nice for my dog."

"Grandparents and parents, stay away. Dewers has a no kids policy. I called after booking two rooms for my family and reading about the policy to ask if I should cancel. Staff said we should come anyway. After checking in, the owner loudly reminded us that there is a no kids policy in front of other guests. He said we were checked in, so to stay, but effectively not to come back. We will not be back. Rooms are noisy and stuffy in the motel."
