Great place to stay the night before or night after a camping or backpacking trip in the Trinity Alps Wilderness. Great location, friendly staff and easy access to the ranger station and the trailheads.

Beautiful setting right on the river. Large grounds. Quiet at night. Lovely spot. Just a few minute drive from Weaverville. However, Weaverville has very little to offer in terms of restaurants. Good base for hiking for a day or two.

It's a nice, clean motel with friendly, helpful staff. The bathroom was nicely updated/renovated. The furniture was older and a bit mismatched but perfectly serviceable. Staff had made effort with little extras -- the in-room coffee station, s'more fixings available, dining recommendations, etc. All-in-all, a nice overnight stop for us (or longer stay for fishermen). We would recommend it to others.
