"The room was clean and simple, as a hermitage should be. But extremely comfortable and stylish. The staff were superb, both helpful/attentive and informed about the setting. The restaurants on site are wonderful and the options in the village are plentiful and well run. The highlight above all is the access to the Abbey. Private and at night. Wow."

"We booked the room for three guests, but the amenities were only prepared for two—things like bathrobes were missing for the third person, which felt like a slight oversight in attention to detail. That said, the overall experience was still wonderful. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely amazing, with a level of quality and service that made us feel truly looked after—almost like royalty. With just a bit more care in the room setup, this would have been a flawless stay."

"Very friendly staff and room very clean. Lovely setting with each room having its own terrace. Dog friendly and there is a great public open space on the other side of the road where dogs can be exercised. Unfortunately we could not use the restaurant because a wedding party was using it. However good restaurants nearby and good room service meant this did not detract too much."
