Tha hotel was great , clean room, nice bed, in fact everything was great except water pressure in the shower and the breakfast. I couldnt find the breakfast server so I went into their kitchen to find the syrup. There were no eggs or sausage left and still 30 min left for breakfast.

It's a slightly older property, meant to be near the river industries. If you're using to be near attractions and shopping, this isn't it. If you want something quiet and away from everything, it's a ghost town on weekends. Water pressure can be a bit low on the upper floors.

Refund run around 😡

I paid for two nights at the front desk for the room that I booked to Hotels.com. I had to leave a day early and checked out and then asked for a refund for the second night and they did not want to do that. I would avoid this hotel and booking through hotels.com forever:(

Charged for a nights stay and never checked in.

I called the hotel prior to booking to confirm they had an operational business center. The gentleman with whom I spoke confirmed they did. I prepaid and the booking was non-refundable. I got there to find their computer and printer wouldn’t even power on. I left without even checking in. The gentleman assured me his GM would issue a refund. That was several days ago and a refund has yet to be issued.

I got what I paid for I guess...

Well...firstly I got scolded for picking a handicapped room....which I didn't see indicated when I selected it....so maybe that should be more obvious? And secondly the counter clerk was arguing with a lady that was having guys without keys banging on the back door. And thirdly.....this was probably the most bleak continental breakfast I've had in awhile. But I guess I got what I paid for being that it was about half the price of a lot of the rooms a few miles north in Baton Rouge. Also it sounded like the people upstairs were throwing heavy objects around all night.

Nice, quite, comfortable for 1-night stay

As I live about 60 miles away, I needed to stay at a hotel that was near the seminar I was attending in Vacherie. I found this Quality Inn via Hotels.com and it was very reasonably priced. I arrived on a Friday evening with plans to leave early Saturday morning and thus needed quiet so that I could get to sleep early. I was given a room on the 2nd floor that was indeed very quiet and I didn't hear other guests above, below, or next to me. The young lady who checked me in was friendly and helpful. At check-in, a credit card was required to be charged for a $100 deposit. It was refunded to my card on Monday morning. I am a plus-sized lady so I bring my own bath towel; indeed, the bath towels provided were too small for me (this is not a complaint -- just a note for other plus-sized guests who might stay here). Travel-sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were provided along with 2 small bars of soap for washing hands & bathing. I didn't have time to partake of the complimentary breakfast in the morning. I was able to drop off my keycard in a box without having to wait for someone to check me out, though another young lady staff person came from the eating area to ask my room number, I presume so that she could process all the check-outs, as there were several keycards in the secured box. As my seminar is likely to occur in the same location at least once a year at this time, I will likely stay at this Quality Inn again if the price is still reasonable.

Worst experience ever!

Very shady staff and management. We checked out early due to problems I will list below and was told by the person at the front desk a refund would be issued to us through Hotels.com. When I contacted Hotels.com they said they contacted the hotel and the person at the desk said there would not be a refund. I contacted the property myself and I was told they had my number off the caller ID and would contact me back. 5 days later they have not returned my call and they will not answer now when I call back. Also there are day laborers staying there which doesn’t bother me but they frequent the pool daily from around 6pm until it closes and they were offering my children beer in an obvious attempt to get us to leave so they could drink and play their speakers. Definitely not family friendly. Breakfast is sausage, eggs, and waffles every day. If your white fix them yourself if your black then they fix them for you. The lady that ran the breakfast area was definitely rude toward us. We was the only white family at the property and was not made welcome. There is a $100 deposit which is listed online in the fine print. If you pay cash they say you get it back at checkout. I used my card and 5 days later finally got that back. In their defense he offered me to use their ATM machine to get cash out for a ridiculous surcharge fee. All around shady property and I would never go back there again! P.S. if you go there bring your own towels because good luck getting more.
