Room needs some serious maintenance. Flooring had gaps, the linens didn’t fit the bed, the vent in the bathroom was missing and was just a whole in the ceiling. On top of that the bathroom was enough to induce claustrophobia. On the bright side the air conditioning works great.
It had no breakfast area and the pool was closed. Parking spots were close to the rooms but there were no vending or ice machine operable. The room was clean enough; the building is very old. Water got hot in a hurry, but the shower tub felt like the floor might give way beneath it. Might have leaked previously. Plenty of water pressure though. The nightly rate is about right, picked it for the low price and it was tolerable.
Not enough outlets or close enough to the bed for somebody traveling with a CPAP machine and a phone that is an alarm. Luckily, I had long cords. Outlet was coming out of the wall. Normally, I leave my electronics plugged in, but not here. Someone needs to fix that. Room 111.
No breakfast to speak of, so I can tell why it's so d*** cheap. You get what you pay for.
The security door to the building had many dents in it from apparently being kicked in. The latch plate was loose and would stick periodically. The same was true for the door to my room. The entry light in my room strobed continuously. It was so obnoxious that I had to shut it off and operate with floor lamps. The floor was a poor patchwork of floating laminate flooring that appeared to be assembled by children. The sitting chair was old, worn, and stained.
I almost walked out but the place was generally quiet and there were no fights so I could sleep…
