"Set in the quiet and bucolic Norfolk countryside, this is a lovely place to stay for a quiet retreat. We stayed in an en-suite cabin with two dogs, we were surrounded by woodland and looked out over a lake, of which there are a few within the site. Alongside the great views, we had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities and a clean and modern en-suite. "Check-in is at 2 pm and check-out already at 10 am, which would suggest that the room should at least be clean. Nothing could be further from the truth. Luckily, at least (and probably only) the bed linen in this room was washed and fresh — otherwise we would have done what other guests did and simply left. The carpet was dirty, and the only bedside lamp in the room was filthy and covered in cobwebs. A hole where the window handle should have been was stuffed with paper. The shower and sink...

"Lovely Hotel, room was clean, bath was superb and shower, we stayed in The Lawn Rooms and they were really well equipped. Staff really friendly in The Feathers, breakfast was lovely. Highly recommend a stay at The Feathers in the centre of Holt, especially on Market Weekend!"

"The self serve check in machines x 2 were not working. No one the front desk, asked the lady managing the bar she said she would be there in a bit, but in the meantime continued to serve new people coming up to the bar, cleaned multiple tables all the time whilst I was waiting just to check in. Once I asked again and she came over to help,! but she was sickly sweet. I just wanted to check in. 20mins later it finally happened. Room was good, had kettle and tea available for the morning. "One of the best spas I have visited. This is due to the friendly welcoming warm staff - specially Rosie who couldn’t do enough for us, she happily showed us around the facilities and made us feel very special. The fun, colourful vibe and swim up cocktails were a treat and the room with the double bath was one of its kind and so memorable. I would come back in a heartbeat - and hope to return later this year"

"The stay at the Le Strange Arms was excellent from when we booked in to when we left. The room was clean and supplied with biscuits and fresh milk in a bottle, made a change from U H T in plastic. The breakfast was very good set us up for the day. The only complaint was the shower it was very hot I could not turn it down to a comfortable temperature. "
