"A good value for money hotel and a convenient stopover on our way to the next destination. The room was spacious, breakfast had a nice variety, and we really enjoyed the pizza bar. The main downside was the air conditioning, although the unit was there, it barely made a difference and the room stayed uncomfortably hot"

"It was a great stay at relax inn. My friends and I enjoyed the experience. The staff were extremely friendly and the environment was really nice. The only challenge we had was that one of the rooms (Room 101 to be precise) had a constant smell in the parlour which was a bit uncomfortable. Other than this, it was really an amazing stay."
"Overall, the stay was worth the money, but organization and communication before arrival could be improved, especially regarding parking. This is not really a hotel but an apartment building without an elevator. It’s newly built and has a pleasant, modern feel. The location is excellent, very close to the beach and promenade.
On arrival, there was no toilet paper, but the staff provided it quickly. The website mentioned slippers and bathrobes, but none of the rooms in our group had them. The towel situation was odd - we started with one large and one small towel, but by the end of the stay, we only had one each. There were no cups, no hangers in the wardrobe, and only a small bathroom bin — a larger one would be useful. The bathroom floor was often flooded as water leaked from the shower despite being careful.
Breakfast was served in a nearby restaurant about 200 meters away. The place was nice, and while the selection was limited, it was acceptable for €5. However, breakfast organization was confusing. On the first day, only two of us were served before the staff said there wasn’t enough food. The rest of the stay was inconsistent - sometimes they didn’t check room numbers, other times they tried to turn us away, even though we had paid for breakfast for the full stay.
Be ready that the area around the building is very dirty and close to the large waste bins, that were constantly full and smell bad."
"The property was spotless, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Located right on the beach, it offered easy access to nearby restaurants and local supermarkets. Breakfast was enjoyable, though I personally found the selection repetitive after a couple of days.
Parking was available, and while the local bus service wasn’t very frequent, it was accessible. The booking was reasonably priced and budget-friendly. The shower had excellent water pressure and stayed hot—perfect for long, relaxing showers.
Overall, I had a great experience. I’d definitely consider staying again, although I also enjoy exploring other options."
"This is truly a hidden gem. Located along the beach, the hotel has its own chairs and umbrellas. Breakfast buffet is amazing (ours was i included in the price). It is family owned and operated and the owner was always around and super helpful. There is a paved walkway along the beach so you can walk for miles without getting sand in your shoes. There are dozens of restaurants within easy walking distance but dont ignore the restaurant that is on site. Downtown is a 10e (800-1000 leke) cab ride. If you are braver (we were) the bus stop is 100 meters down the road and it delivers you right downtown for 40 leke. I dont know if we will ever return to Durres but if we do i want to stay here again."
"A very fun place to stay. Staff was super serving and excellent! They had a place to park, which is a must in Durres. Great location. Wonderful pool (although closing at 6pm is so early!). Chairs and umbrellas on the beach. We had a great time!!!"
