"Get what you pay for. Cheap and cheerful and budget friendly. Continental breakfast was nice, option to upgrade to cooked breakfast for £5pp, but that's in the hotel over the road. Room was small but comfortable and had everything needed for an overnight stay."

"Breakfast was good overall, however would have expected to see black pudding on the hot choice and the choice of bread was poor as the brown was very dry. The coffee in the machines did not taste as a quality brand."

"Amazing 17th century coaching Inn. Fabulous room and great bathroom. Lovely dinner in the restaurant and so nice to sit in the lounge (with no tv), and enjoy the music and play cards. It was a wonderful stay, and the bonus packed lunch with brilliant! "

Room is clean; aircon is cool; window able to open for ventilation; fast WiFi; hot shower pressure is stong; toiletries are tamper proof and smells nice; location is near Manchester Piccadilly station; cleaning is well done everyday (remember to hang the cleaning sign on your door before you leave the room); extra towels are available under the sink cabinet. "This is a new first rate hotel, close to the opera house Manchester. Upon arrival a warm welcome by staff. We were upgraded to a suite which was absolutely amazing. We have stayed in great rooms over the years but this had everything including bath in the bedroom, walk in wardrobe with Peleton well stocked bar. We ate Dinner at the hotel and had done previously.
