"The property itself is dated. The desk staff were pleasant, but the housekeeping there is terrible. We found loose screws in the carpet. My wife stepped on a toe nail. Our balconey came with a coffee cup full of cigarette butts. Our room had no closet or luggage rack and the bathroom was so small that you couldn't close the door unless you're standing in the shower. We probably won't go back."

"Had basically everything you could want in a kitchen, had some heating issues with one of the stove top burners and the fridge was "apartment sized which did lead to some space issues. Bed was comfortable. Nice shower. Nice tv. Outdoor decor was cool. Overall it was a great stay and would return."

"The room was comfortable but starting to show wear. Little things like the soap dish was upside down and shower curtain too low, fraying of carpet. The staff more than made up for any downfall. They were all so friendly and pleasant, gave us rooms close to each other. The breakfast was very good, and the cook was excellent. Changed breakfast into a good experience and we left with big hugs from him. He’s part of the family now now. So a great rating from us "

"The Heron’s Landing is right across the road from the oceanfront. It is simple, honest, basic accomo, and if you’re being picky, it’s a bit dated. That said it very clean and very well kept. Covered parking is available, and the included breakfast was a bonus, given the price point. Overall, it was excellent value for the rate paid. "
