"Our hotel room reminded me of the small but efficient hotel rooms we experienced in Tokyo. It had the same kind of shallow metal framework attached to the wall that held all the hangers, spare towels, hairdrier etc etc. That's fine if you're only staying a night before catching a flight - preferably with little, or better no luggage, as there's not much space for it. We weren't so happy with the black walls and plugs, as it was really hard to see where to plug in our chargers/charging cables...

"Good ~ Very convenient to get to and from Manchester airport, shuttle runs to and from every 20 mins.
Good - front desk night staff very helpful. Front desk day staff ok, but a smile would have been nice to receive
Very good- typical British breakfast very good. Great coffee! Evening meal very good- wait staff very friendly
Very good-rooms in tower are newer and beds and pillows were very comfortable and very clean
Good - common areas are quite worn in places, but that s because it’s a popular...

"I asked for a late checkout but was told no because they were fully booked for the night ahead and a lot of those guests had asked for an early check in which seems very unfair to me.
The staff on reception were also quite rude to me."

"Room was clean and large. Bed was comfy. Main issue was room located behind the main lift banks which of course operated all night so impacted sleep.
Bar service is very slow as is the service in the restaurant. We left without ordering a dessert as waited over 39mind for someone to take our order. Staff are good but there is not enough of them.
Lastly parking is expensive and cheaper to pay in the hotel than on the app they reference on the signs outside."

"The hotel was ideal for what we needed and was a comfortable place to stay. We had booked breakfast as part of our stay, but unfortunately, when we arrived, we were told this wasn’t showing on the system and that we would need to pay again, which we did.
We later found our booking confirmation showing that breakfast was included, and the hotel was helpful in resolving this and provided us with a refund. Overall, we had a good stay and appreciated that the issue was sorted out."
