The good: quiet room, clean and a good variety of choices for breakfast. The not-so-good: front desk staff could be friendlier and more professional, no towels at the pool, hot tub was hot but not running, carpet had many stains and bathroom wallpaper in disrepair. A little attention to detail and some upkeep would make this hotel a real winner.

The rooms are VERY dated and while tidy, there are not clean. Stains on the carpet, terrible mattresses, the couch so nasty that I was afraid to sit on it. The bar and kitchen may or may not be open. Breakfast was the only thing consistent.

My room was luxurious with a deluxe living room and a comfortable bed and the room was AC cooled the room quickly. The bathroom and shower were very clean with hot water. The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. The atrium showed a beautiful dinning area and restaurant/bar. Pool and hot tub were clean and nice. The Hotel Auburn Hills was a great surprise I found on Expedia.com. We plan to stay here again.

Pool/Hot Tub area was disgusting = never used facility - badly needs to be renovated. Although said it had - No WIFI. Suite was below average - stain on rug inside bathroom and lotion bottle hanging from wall. Stains on the couch. Only one garbage can for the entire suite. Paid too much money for what received. Expedia should do their due diligence and inspect properties posted on website.
